CHEMICALS FOR INDUSTRY AND ENVIRONMENT
Discharged from the Royal Navy in 1917, Major Alessandro Gaeta founded a company bearing his name with the aim of supplying technical equipment and chemical products to the nautical sector.
Marco Bussetti, the founder's cousin and collaborator, took over the company in 1945, but was forced to start all over again owing to the difficult post-war situation.
ALESSANDRO GAETA expanded gradually, becoming the exclusive distributor of chemical products for various American companies, such as Perolin Co., Inc. in New York (since 1948) and Bird Archer in New Jersey (since 1952), along with many others.
A new business area was added in 1960: cooperation (as an exclusive distributor) with Kaiser Aluminum & Chemicals (Oakland, California) led to the supply of significant quantities of refractory materials to the largest steel-making complexes (IRI) in Italy for many years.
The extensive process of renovation that began in the 1970s enhanced the company's propensity for industrial activities, helping it to become an independent developer and manufacturer of numerous products.
Today, thanks to its intellectual and production independence, ALESSANDRO GAETA can penetrate and operate in the most diversified markets.
